§ 第十八屆 長庚文學獎徵文比賽 §

壹、 主辦單位:長庚大學


貳、 承辦單位:通識教育中心

參、 舉辦宗旨:為提升本校學生文學創作風氣,以厚植人文素養、強

化長庚辦學精神及職場倫理、涵泳道德情操為宗旨

肆、 參加對象:本校大學部及研究所在學學生、但應屆畢業生於6月底前投稿,仍具參賽資格

伍、 徵稿項目:

(一)  短篇小說組:五千字至二萬字

(二)  散文組:二千字至四千字

(三)  新詩組:四十行以內(含空行)

陸、 獎勵:

(一)  短篇小說組

第一名:一名,獎金二萬元獎狀一

第二名:一名,獎金一萬元獎狀一

第三名:一名,獎金八仟元獎狀一

  作:三名,獎金每名參仟元,獎狀一

(二)  散文組

第一名:一名,獎金一萬元獎狀一

第二名:一名,獎金八仟元獎狀一

第三名:一名,獎金六仟元獎狀一

  作:三名,獎金每名貳仟元,獎狀一

(三)  新詩組

第一名:一名,獎金一萬元獎狀一

第二名:一名,獎金八仟元獎狀一

第三名:一名,獎金六仟元獎狀一

  作:三名,獎金每名貳仟元,獎狀一

收稿事項:

(一)收件日期:自即日起至1141012() 24:00截止。

(二)收件地點:管理大樓八樓通識教育中心「人文科教學觀摩室」或擲入本中心信箱區「文學獎投稿信箱」。

(三)收件規格:文稿不得書寫作者姓名或筆名,請wordA4規格直式橫書,文字請使用標楷體(12號字)書寫,並填寫活動網頁下載之「報名表」。

(四)投件方式:兩項擇一

1、紙本報名:紙本作品一式三份,填妥報名表,逕交或郵寄本中心「文學獎投稿信箱」,作品電子檔請寄至:D000020488@cgu.edu.tw

    2、電子報名:傳送作品、報名表(需含照片圖檔)電子檔至:D000020488@cgu.edu.tw,以收件電腦時間為準。

       為避免可能疏失,上述投件方式必須收到承辦單位回覆通知,始完成報名程序。

(五)篇數限制:每人限投二組,每組限投一篇。

(六)電子檔規則:舉例如下

1、報名表:  中醫一 李大明 報名表

2、作品檔:中醫一 李大明 實習日記 新詩組

(七)來稿請於信封註明「長庚文學獎徵文稿件」、投稿人「姓名」及「應徵項目」,無論入選與否,恕不退件。

柒、 評選方式:邀請各專業教授及作家擔任評審委員。

(一)  初審:11410月下旬完成。(論述組初審即完成決審)

(二)  決審:11411月底前完成,採公開決審評委會議方式進行。

捌、 其他注意事項:

(一) 承辦單位保留修改徵文及活動辦法之權利。

(二) 參選作品不得一稿多投或修改得獎舊作,且須未曾發表者,得獎作品經發現資格不符、代筆或抄襲等,一律取消得獎資格,追回獎金、獎狀,並需自負相關法律責任。

(三) 作品如未達水準,得由決審委員決定某一獎項從缺,或變更獎項名額。

(四) 預定於12月舉行頒獎典禮(確切時間將公佈於活動網站),得獎者未到場,且未請人代理出席領獎者,一律取消得獎資格。

(五) 所有入選作品,發表權、轉載權歸主辦單位所有,得獎者另須提供較詳細之個人資料、生活照及得獎感言,需於規定時間內完成繳交。

(六) 得獎人獎金依本國稅法規定需扣繳所得稅(稅額以當年度財政部調整公佈為準);另因應政策規定,個人所得總獎金超出新臺幣二萬()者,亦代扣1.91%作為健保補充保費並由得獎人提供獎金收據所需之印花稅票

§ The 18th Chang Gung Literary Award – Call for Submissions §

I. Organizer

Chang Gung University

II. Co-organizer

Center for General Education

III. Purpose

This competition aims to promote literary creativity among CGU students, enhance humanistic literacy, reinforce CGU’s educational mission and workplace ethics, and cultivate moral character.

IV. Eligibility

All current undergraduate and graduate students of CGU. Graduating students are also eligible, provided their submissions are received before the end of June.

V. Categories

  1. Short Story: 5,000–20,000 words
  2. Essay: 2,000–4,000 words
  3. Poetry: Within 40 lines (including blank lines)

VI. Awards

(1) Short Story

  • First Prize: 1 winner, NT$20,000 + certificate
  • Second Prize: 1 winner, NT$10,000 + certificate
  • Third Prize: 1 winner, NT$8,000 + certificate
  • Honorable Mention: 3 winners, NT$3,000 each + certificate

(2) Essay

  • First Prize: 1 winner, NT$10,000 + certificate
  • Second Prize: 1 winner, NT$8,000 + certificate
  • Third Prize: 1 winner, NT$6,000 + certificate
  • Honorable Mention: 3 winners, NT$2,000 each + certificate

(3) Poetry

  • First Prize: 1 winner, NT$10,000 + certificate
  • Second Prize: 1 winner, NT$8,000 + certificate
  • Third Prize: 1 winner, NT$6,000 + certificate
  • Honorable Mention: 3 winners, NT$2,000 each + certificate

VII. Submission Guidelines

  1. Deadline: From now until October 12, 2025 (Sun), 24:00.
  2. Submission Location:
    • In person: Center for General Education, 8th Floor, Management Building (“Humanities & Education Observation Room”), or drop-off at the “Literary Award Submission Box.”
  3. Format Requirements:
    • Manuscripts must not include the author’s name or pen name.
    • Submit in Word format, A4 size, vertical layout.
    • Font: DFKai-SB, size 12.
    • Registration form (downloadable from the event website) must be completed.
  4. Submission Methods (choose one):
    • Paper Submission: Three hard copies of the work + completed registration form delivered or mailed to the “Literary Award Submission Box.” An electronic copy must also be emailed to: D000020488@cgu.edu.tw.
    • Electronic Submission: Send the manuscript and registration form (with photo file) to D000020488@cgu.edu.tw. Submission is based on the computer’s receipt time.
    • Confirmation email from the organizer is required to complete registration.
  5. Entry Limit: Each participant may submit up to 2 categories, 1 entry per category.
  6. File Naming Format:
    • Registration Form: e.g., Chinese Medicine Year 1_Li Daming_Registration Form
    • Work File: e.g., Chinese Medicine Year 1_Li Daming_Internship Diary_Poetry
  7. Envelope Labeling: Please indicate “Chang Gung Literary Award Submission”, along with the applicant’s name and category. Submissions will not be returned, regardless of result.

VIII. Evaluation

  • Preliminary Review: Completed by late October 2025.
  • Final Review: Completed by late November 2025, conducted in an open review committee format with invited professors and writers.

IX. Additional Notes

  1. The organizer reserves the right to amend the submission rules and event details.
  2. Works must be original, unpublished, and not submitted to multiple contests. Plagiarized or ghostwritten works will result in disqualification, revocation of awards, recovery of prize money/certificates, and legal liability.
  3. If submissions do not meet the required standard, the jury reserves the right to withhold prizes or adjust award quotas.
  4. The award ceremony is scheduled for December (exact date announced on the event website). Winners who fail to attend or send a representative will forfeit their prize.
  5. Publication and reprint rights of selected works belong to the organizer. Winners must also provide detailed personal information, a photo, and an acceptance speech within the specified time.
  6. Taxes: Prize money is subject to withholding tax under national tax law. For annual total prizes exceeding NT$20,000, an additional 1.91% will be deducted as National Health Insurance supplementary premium. Winners must also provide required tax stamps.
