On Wednesday afternoon,April 8th,students from Yunlin Cheng-Hsin High School visited the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in two groups.The department was hosted by Director Hsieh Wan-Yun and Professor Huang Chung-Yuan,who introduced the topic to the visiting students:"In the AI Wave,How Should We Choose Our Ideal Department?A Guide for High School Students from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering."In each 50-minute presentation,Professor Huang Chung-Yuan began by sharing his own experience using generative AI,explaining that effectively using and applying generative AI is just one of the fundamental skills for Computer Science and Engineering students.Before graduation,each student will learn how to use the latest deep learning architectures to write generative AI systems through courses that have passed IEET engineering education certification.
