1.To safeguard the safety and well-being of research participants, and to ensure that all research activities comply with applicable laws and regulations, faculty and research staff must ensure that any blood collection procedures involved in human subject research are conducted by qualified professionals within legally authorized medical institutions, as defined by the Medical Care Act and relevant regulations.
2. Should blood collection be necessary for research purposes, it must be commissioned to a legally registered and accredited medical institution to mitigate potential legal risks and disputes.
3.The University strictly prohibits the conduct of any type of research-related blood collection on campus.
4.For research projects that have already received approval from the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and originally planned to conduct blood collection on campus, researchers are required to contact the IRB to initiate the protocol amendment process. This is to ensure the legality and safety of the research implementation.
