"TASK: Teaching Assistant System for Korfball" is an innovative sports teaching assistance system that integrates artificial intelligence and generative AI technology. It is designed to promote korfball, an international sport with both educational significance and a spirit of fairness. Korfball emphasizes gender equality and teamwork. Although Taiwan ranks among the top in the world, it is difficult to promote it widely on campus due to insufficient social popularity and lack of teaching resources. To solve these problems, we designed the TASK system, which fully assists teachers in teaching and students in self-learning from pre-class preparation, in-class detection to post-class feedback. The system provides comic teaching materials and interactive quizzes before class to build learning motivation. During class, Mediapipe Pose is used with CNN+LSTM models for real-time action recognition. After class, ChatGPT is combined to automatically generate personalized learning suggestions and sports risk analysis reports. In order to increase the data diversity of unpopular korfball actions, we introduced Pose Generator and Diffusion Model for data augmentation, which effectively enhanced the accuracy of the model. The system uses Chart.js and Matplotlib to present visual data, allowing teachers and students to intuitively grasp the effectiveness and risks. After testing and verification by the experimental group and the control group, TASK can significantly improve the accuracy of students' movements and the efficiency of teachers' teaching. This work participated in the "2025 Asian University Generative AI Creative Design Competition", echoing the core goal of "improving students' generative AI technology application capabilities, encouraging innovation and educational practicality", and practicing the implementation of AI in the field of education. Standing out from many outstanding teams across the country and winning the championship of this year, we have demonstrated our innovative strength in successfully introducing generative AI technology into the education field. In the future, we will continue to optimize the system and expand its application to more sports and teaching scenarios to realize the educational vision of "making every student visible".
After fierce competition, a student from Chang Gung University won the championship with the work "Korfball: Physical Fitness Smart Teaching Assistance System" and won a prize of 100,000 NTD.
