The latest "World's Top 2% Scientists" list, published in September 2024, is compiled by Stanford University based on data from Scopus. This list evaluates all Scopus authors across 22 major fields and 174 subfields, using several key indicators: total citations, H-index, co-author-adjusted Hm-index, citations as different author types, and a composite score (c-score). The list highlights two categories: the "Career-Long Scientific Influence Ranking (1960-2023)" and the "2023 Annual Scientific Influence Ranking."
At our university, 34 faculty members were recognized in the "World's Top 2% Career-Long Achievement Scientists," and 48 faculty members were listed in the "2023 World's Top 2% Scientists," with three professors from our department making it onto both lists.
