氣麻機必須每年進行校正確效，若無校正或不願意校正，則：
1. 不得再使用氣麻機進行動物實驗，且相關動物實驗申請表必須進行修正，變更相關麻醉、犧牲方式。
2. 或提出使用他台氣麻機或向實驗動物中心借用。
3. 實驗動物中心有氣麻機可供借用，但限於動物中心內使用，且須自備麻醉藥劑。
【二】
根據「實驗動物安樂死方法指導原則」（111年01月18日依AVMA 2020修訂之指引附件二），不得以密封罐利用Isoflurane氣體麻醉液進行動物麻醉與犧牲，必須改用氣麻機操作或使用其他麻醉、犧牲方式。
並且，相關動物實驗申請表必須進行修正，變更相關麻醉、犧牲方式。

【三】
由於含賽拉嗪（Xylazine）之動物藥品（商品名：若朋20）已於114年5月29日公告納入第四級管制藥品管理，而使用管制藥品要依管制藥品條例取得及管理。
如需將Xylazine變更為非管制藥品，須由計畫主持人（PI）主動提出修正相關動物實驗申請表之申請，預完日115年12月31日。
【四】
「動物實驗紀錄表」已更新版本，且自即日起使用。

According tothe resolution of the meeting of the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee(IACUC) held on June 5, 2026:
【一】
The gas anesthesia machine must undergo calibration and performance verification annually. If the machine has not been calibrated or the user is unwilling to have it calibrated, then:
1. The gas anesthesia machine may no longer be used for animal experiments, and the relevant animal experiment protocol/application must be revised to reflect changes to the anesthesia and euthanasia methods.
2. Alternatively, arrangements must be made to use another calibrated gas anesthesia machine or to borrow one from the Laboratory Animal Center.
3. The Laboratory Animal Center has gas anesthesia machines available for loan; however, they may only be used within the Animal Center, and users must provide their own anesthetic agents.
【二】
According to the "Guidelines for Methods of Euthanasia of Experimental Animals", the use of a sealed container with liquid Isoflurane to anesthetize and euthanize animals is prohibited. Animal anesthesia and euthanasia must instead be performed using a gas anesthesia machine or other approved anesthesia and euthanasia methods.
In addition, the relevant animal experiment protocol/application must be amended to reflect the revised anesthesia and euthanasia methods.
Completion deadline: December 31, 2026.
【三】
As animal pharmaceutical products containing Xylazine (trade name: Rompun 20) were officially designated as Schedule IV controlled drugs on May 29, 2025, their acquisition, use, and management must comply with the applicable Controlled Drugs Act and related regulations.
If Xylazine is to be replaced with a non-controlled substance, the Principal Investigator (PI) must proactively submit an amendment to the relevant animal experiment protocol/application to revise the associated drug usage.
Completion deadline: December 31, 2026.
【四】
The "Animal Experiment Record Form" has been revised and updated. The new version shall be used with immediate effect.
