Department of Health Care Management

This course focuses on advanced concepts and techniques in management and exploratory of health care data using SAS and SPSS applied to real data. Data from the National Health Insurance Research Database provided by the Bureau of National Health Insurance and longitudinal population-based data sets to be used throughout to illustrate principles of data management. The material to be presented will focus on learning the programming language SAS and package SPSS, which will be taught in the context of introducing a number of practical issues in management of health data.
