The “EMI Certification Program for International Higher Education (Advance HE EMI Training for Professional Academics)” is co-taught by certified international trainers from Advance HE and instructors from the International Higher Education Training team at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University. The program offers higher education teaching training that integrates global perspectives with practical experience in Taiwan. Participants who complete the program will be awarded a certificate issued by Advance HE (UK).

Course Information:
(1) Target Participants: Faculty members, doctoral students, and doctoral-level professionals from public and private universities/colleges in Taiwan who aim to enhance their EMI teaching strategies and professional teaching development.
(2) Course Duration: A total of 24 hours (including synchronous online sessions and in-person EMI teaching demonstrations and classroom observations).
(3) Course Objectives: To support instructors in improving their EMI teaching skills and strategies within their disciplines, and to help them stay up to date with the latest theories and practices in higher education teaching.
(4) Registration Period and Method: From April 13 to May 29, 2026, please register and complete payment via the university’s Continuing Education website under the “International Higher Education EMI Program” section (https://cec.nycu.edu.tw/Course/CourseInfo?CId=93171). Early bird discounts are available for registrations completed before May 15, and group discounts are offered for groups of three or more participants during the registration period.

This training program is recognized by the EMI Center as an international certification under the EMI faculty certification categories. Faculty members may use the certificate of completion to apply for Certification Category 1 with the EMI Center.
