Purpose: To enhance faculty's English-Medium Instruction (EMI) teaching abilities and improve teaching quality, the university is hosting the competition. Faculty members from colleges and universities nationwide are invited to create innovative teaching videos that demonstrate EMI teaching methodologies. These videos will serve as a resource for peer observation and mutual learning. The competition details are as follows: Eligibility: Faculty members of colleges and universities nationwide. Submission Requirements: A teaching plan and an EMI innovative teaching video. Submission Period and Method: From now until January 20, 2025 (Monday). Please email the application form and teaching plan to the designated organizer's email address. Awards: First Prize (1 recipient): NT$30,000 and a certificate. Excellence Awards (3 recipients): NT$20,000 and a certificate. Honorable Mentions (5 recipients): NT$5,000 and a certificate. Certificates will be issued only to those who successfully complete the full program and pass the teaching demonstration assessment. Note: Due to the intensive nature of the workshop, participants must prepare their demonstration teaching topics and materials in advance for the teaching assessment scheduled on the afternoon of January 17.
