Aurora Cytek

Utilizing proprietary Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing (CWDM) technology, the Cytek Aurora collects fluorescent signals emitted from the sample through high-sensitivity Avalanche Photodiode (APD) detector arrays. Using specialized software, the system integrates spectral data from the detector modules across each laser line to generate a unique Full Spectral Signature for each fluorophore, achieving comprehensive full-spectrum signal detection.

Key features include:
1. Enhanced Multiplexing Capacity: Enables the resolution of fluorophores with highly overlapping emission spectra, allowing simultaneous detection of over 40 colors in a single tube.
2. Autofluorescence Extraction: Capable of simultaneously extracting multiple unique autofluorescence signatures from complex samples, applying autofluorescence unmixing to maximize data resolution and clarity.
3. Cytek Assay Settings: Utilizes pre-optimized instrument settings to streamline operation while ensuring high data reproducibility and consistency.
4. Dual-Mode System: Features an industry-first dual-mode capability, allowing seamless switching between "Full Spectral Mode" and "Conventional Mode" to meet diverse experimental requirements.

Our center's Cytek Aurora is equipped with 5 lasers and 64 fluorescence channels, making it ideal for high-parameter applications. It provides a powerful, user-friendly platform tailored for challenging samples characterized by high autofluorescence, low marker expression, or small particle sizes, fulfilling a broad array of research needs.

In addition, the center provides a dedicated analysis workstation equipped with three flow cytometry analysis software packages—including SpectroFlo and OMIQ—giving researchers flexible and comprehensive options for data analysis.
