Call for Applications:CGU Funding for Research Stays Abroad (Deadline: November 30)

1. Eligibility:
Full-time faculty members (excluding clinical instructors) and research personnel at the level of assistant researcher or above should generally be under the age of 45 at the time of application, must not have violated academic ethics in the past five years, and must meet at least one of the following criteria:

(1) Applicants must have served as a PI for a research project funded by the NSTC or NHRI for at least three years in the past five years (excluding NSTC undergraduate research projects and non-academic research projects, such as recruitment of science and technology personnel, collaborative exchange programs, and NSTC commissioned projects), and have demonstrated outstanding academic research achievements in their field.

(2) Applicants must have received a major national academic award in the past five years, such as the Ta-You Wu Memorial Award, the Outstanding Research Award, the Outstanding Contribution in Technology Transfer Award from the NSTC, the Academia Sinica Early-Career Investigator Award, or any other representative national academic award in their field.

(3) Applicants’ academic expertise should align with the University's key development areas, or they should require overseas research and training due to hiring conditions.

2. Please submit the following documents to the R&D Office by November 30:
(1) Application Form (Appendix 2)
(2) Invitation letter or any other relevant supporting documents from the host institution abroad.
