1. Up to 6 scholars who are not affiliated with Academia Sinica will be selected based on merit each year, with each scholar receiving a maximum annual research subsidy of NT$8 million.
2. Each school may recommend up to 5 candidates.
3. Candicates should be recommended by their college and submit the enclosed inner recommendation form to the R&D Office before by April 22, 2026.
4. Recommended candidates should complete the Letter of Intent application via https://asms.sinica.edu.tw/ before by 17:00 on April 30, 2026.
5. Academia Sinica will announce the results before mid-June, 2026. Applicants who are selected must submit a complete project application online by 17:00 on July 15, 2026.
