High school graduates or Undergraduate students currently enrolled in academic programs outside Taiwan (e.g., USA, Canada, U.K.), preferably on a pre-med track or pursuing careers in medicine or health sciences.

    Fill in information on the CGU Online Application System

    • After clicking the application page, please first confirm your citizenship and then click "Choose your category" and select "Premed Enhancement Summer Program" as your application category.
    • Click the blue "Apply Now" button, and the system will proceed to the account creation page. After your account is successfully created, the system will return to this application page. Then, click the "Apply Now" button again to begin filling in your application information.
    • You may save your progress at any time by clicking the "Save" button on each page. Afterwards, you can log back in using your Step 1 account to complete the remaining information.

    Upload Documents

    After entering all required information, please upload the following documents in PDF, JPEG, or PNG format. Screenshots (print-screens) are acceptable.

    1. Transcripts
    • Current College Students: Upload your complete unofficial transcript (up to the most recent term), including all courses taken during your current degree program.
    • High School Graduates: Upload your high school transcript (up to the most recent term).
    2. University/College Acceptance Letter (For High School Graduates Only)
    • If you are a high school graduate, you must upload your university/college acceptance letter under the "Other Supplements" section in the CGU online application system. Screenshots are acceptable.
    3. English Proficiency Test (If Applicable)
    • If you are currently enrolled or will be enrolled in a college outside the U.S., Canada, or the U.K., you are required to submit an English proficiency test result under the "Other Supplements" section.
    4. Other Materials (Optional)
    • The "Other Materials" section is not required unless you need to submit an English proficiency test result.
    • If you want to provide additional materials (such as media links) to explain why you wish to attend the CGU Pre-Med Enhancement Program, you may upload them to this folder. File size limit: 20 MB.

    Submit and Check Status

    After completing all sections of the application form, please click the "Submit" button only when everything is fully filled out. Please note that once you submit your application, the information cannot be modified.

    The submitted online application will be reviewed by the program coordinator and the academic directors consist of CGU College of Medicine faculty members. The applicants will receive the admission/ rejection email after submitted by 4 working days in Taiwan standard time, with the program fee payment details.

    Note: During the Chinese New Year period (Feb 14th to Feb 22nd), document reviews will be temporarily suspended. We appreciate your understanding.

    Payment

    Pay the program fee within 5 working days upon receiving the acceptance email. Only pay by bank wire (online banking/ mobile banking or in-person) in USD (US Dollar) will be accepted. After payment, please upload the remittance slip or payment receipt to Ms. Reese (premed@gap.cgu.edu.tw); scanned and photo versions, or screen-shots are all acceptable.

    Detailed program fee payment methods, official electronic acceptance letter with a list of the pre-program announcements and a list of suggested pre-departure preparation will be included in your acceptance email. CGU looks forward to meeting you in person in the upcoming Summer!
