The "Basic Industrial Design" course of the Industrial Design Department of Chang Gung Memorial University arranged for 23 sophomore students to go to Fuxing District, Taoyuan City for two and a half days of field study this semester, which resulted in the creation of many Atayal cultural and creative products. Associate Professor Liu Yingjie, the teacher who started the course, said that although this is just the beginning, the students' works have already made local artists and elders feel the cultural impact of different generations. He hopes that in the future, we can continue to deepen exchanges and introduce resources, so that the classroom results have the opportunity to be commercialized. 

The University Social Responsibility Promotion Office of Chang Gung Memorial University (USR Office for short) is deeply involved in Fuxing District, Taoyuan City. Recently, it has moved forward in cooperation with Kaishou Elementary School. In addition to the existing health education camp, it has also joined the university teacher team evaluation, and through the curriculum The design leads college students to engage in service together. In the early stages of the cooperation, it was discovered that school children have problems such as writing difficulties, sexual health, emotional impulse management, and movement and balance coordination that need to be strengthened. Therefore, professional teachers and strategies will be introduced to assist primary school teachers and jointly provide long-term and in-depth substantive help to local school children.
