Dr. Huang Peng-Nien participated as a lecturer in the Asia-Pacific Congress on Medical Virology (APCMV) held in Singapore

Assistant Professor Huang Peng-Nien from the International Master Degree Program for Molecular Medicine in Emerging Viral Infections participated in the Asia-Pacific Congress on Medical Virology (APCMV) held in Singapore from November 19 to 21, 2024, and delivered a speech titled "Sexual Dimorphism Analysis Demonstrates Chemokine C–C Motif Ligand 2 Involvement in Enterovirus A71 Infection Pathogenesis". This research mainly explores the gender differences in enterovirus A71 (EV-A71) infection, especially the role of CCL2 (Chemokine C-C Motif Ligand 2) in the infection process, and conducts mechanism verification combined with mouse models. The theme of this conference will cover multiple key fields of medical virology, including virus diagnosis, vaccine research and development, virus monitoring, and public health prevention. Many experts and scholars from all over the world gathered to share their latest research results in related fields, providing an important communication platform for promoting the development of the field of medical virology.
