Notes

For students admitted in the 2013 academic year

Credits required for graduation (degree requirements): 128 (required courses: 90 credits; elective courses: 8 credits; general education courses: 30 credits).

T1 means students who are in their first year program during this academic year.

30 credits are required for the general education courses. Please refer to the regulations stipulated by the Center of General Education. Physical Education (0 credit) is required for the 1st-year and 2nd-year students. Defense Education Military Training (0 credit) is required only for the 1st-year students.

Activities for the Enhancement Program of General Education (0 credit) are required for graduation. Please refer to the regulations stipulated by the Center of General Education and Office of Students Affairs.

Elective courses: All the courses taught by other departments are approved as elective courses. Students should confirm the course title, scheduled time, the number of credits, and get approved by the course instructor before enrolling in the course. If the course taken is the same as the course taught in this Department, only the credit(s) of the course taught in this Department is (are) recognized.

The courses Independent Research in Medical Technology (I)(II)(III) are independently evaluated, and each course can be taken solely without completing the other two. Each of the courses cannot be taken simultaneously with the Introduction to Medical Technology Research.

Prerequisite courses for clinical internship: Students who do not satisfy the requirement for any of the courses listed below must obtain permission from the Committee of Curriculum in this Department in advance before they enrol into the clinical internship program. List of the prerequisite courses: Biochemistry (Laboratory), Clinical Chemistry (Laboratory), Microbiology, Immunology, Microbiology & Immunology Laboratory, Clinical Microbiology (Laboratory), Clinical Hematology (Laboratory), Clinical Virology (Laboratory), Blood Banking & Laboratory, Clinical Serology and Immunology, Clinical Microscopy, Clinical Physiology, Pathology, and Medical Molecular Analysis.
