The SCIEX 6500 is a highly sensitive triple quadrupole liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry (LC–MS/MS) system designed primarily for the selective detection and accurate quantification of known target compounds. Using multiple reaction monitoring (MRM), the system monitors specific precursor-to-product ion transitions, thereby improving analytical selectivity and minimizing matrix interference in complex biological samples. |
