Features of the Division

The Division integrates the faculty and the research resources in multiple clinical fields, including psychology, psychiatry, and neurology, etc. for inspiring and developing various sub-specialties in clinical psychology. Students are expected to acquire solid background knowledge, clinical competence, and research skills after enrollment as the foundations for their life-time career development. The curriculum program of the Division emphasizes professional training to enrich students’ experiences and opportunities for pursuing a future career in clinical psychology. The Division encourages students to take the advantages of putting theory into practice by devoting themselves to participate in clinical practice along with taking required and optional courses. With respect to research, students are required to complete at least one empirical research project under the supervision of their advisors and write theses for the degree examination for Master of Science. The Division is currently conducting numerous research projects and continue to collaborate with the Chang Gung Medical Foundation and other teaching hospitals to conduct clinical studies, including trauma-related psychopathology, neurocognitive disorders, developmental psychopathology and so on.

Qualifications

Graduated with a bachelor’s degree or above from public or private universities in Taiwan, or from foreign universities or colleges recognized by the Ministry of Education, Taiwan,.


Notes

1. At least 3 years of study are required for the Clinical Psychology Division.

2. This master's program is only available for domestic students.
