4.Abstract: This
presentation provides an overview of the applications and emerging developments
in electrochromic devices, with particular emphasis on fluorinated benzyl
viologens as functional molecular systems. The incorporation of fluorine
substituents into the molecular structure enhances coloration contrast,
switching kinetics, and cycling durability. In addition, this presentation will
address relevant material design strategies and highlight their potential
applications in high-performance electrochromic devices.
