We are pleased to have Chief Yao-Ming Wang from the Maritime Technology Development Section, Maritime Innovation & Industry Promotion Department, Metal Industries Research & Development Centre (MIRDC) as our speaker. 4. Abstract:

Seawater hydrogen production is a promising technology for achieving net-zero emissions by 2050. It utilizes abundant seawater without consuming precious freshwater and can integrate with marine renewable energy. Developing this technology can lower green hydrogen production costs, address renewable energy storage and transport challenges, and provide a sustainable pathway that ensures both environmental protection and energy security.
