The Center for Sustainability and Energy Technologies at Chang Gung University will host a Technology Presentation and Matching Event on July 11, 2024. This event will bring together experts from various fields to discuss the latest technologies in sustainable development and energy, and to share cutting-edge research findings.
In line with the government's active promotion of the 2050 net-zero carbon emission policy, Taiwan's energy structure is undergoing significant changes. Future power supply will rely on renewable energy and reserve power, emphasizing the necessity of reducing carbon emissions and highlighting the core role of renewable energy in future power generation. The industry will need a large number of professionals and technical support to address new challenges and opportunities related to new policies, net-zero carbon targets, and new energy development.
To respond to this policy, the Research Platform of the Technical Cooperation Office and the Center for Sustainability and Energy Technologies at Chang Gung University will host the "New Energy Market Trends and Layout - Corporate Sustainability and Renewable Energy Business Opportunities" Technology Presentation and Matching Event. This event is organized in collaboration with the T5GIP Alliance, including Ming Chi University of Technology, National Taiwan University, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, and National Taiwan Normal University. It aims to integrate the technologies of various universities, colleges, departments, and centers, promoting cross-disciplinary cooperation and extensive collaboration between industry, government, and academia.
The event will feature representatives from Formosa Smart Energy and Fortune Electric Co. Ltd. discussing the development of carbon-neutral power and energy storage market trends, providing cutting-edge insights and practical experiences. This will help the industry and academia to deeply understand the latest developments in the renewable energy field and contribute to Taiwan's green future with wisdom and strength.
