2025 Medical Design Workshop — Call for Participants
We sincerely invite students from all departments to participate in the 2025 Medical Design Conference Workshop.
This year's workshop, themed “From Concept to Innovation: Transforming Clinical Problems into Feasible Solutions,” aims to guide participants in understanding real clinical needs and applying design methodologies to develop innovative and practical solutions.

— Workshop Overview —
This workshop features two distinguished international scholars:
Associate Professor Pudtan Phanthunane, Faculty of Business, Economics and Communications, Naresuan University, Thailand
Assistant Professor Eunkyong (EK) Baek, International Design Institute, Hongik University, South Korea
Together, they will lead participants through the core principles of medical design, integrating interdisciplinary collaboration with hands-on practice. The workshop will guide students to explore clinical needs and user pain points, apply design-thinking methods for problem analysis, develop concrete medical design concepts, and present feasible innovative solutions through prototyping and structured proposal methods.
This program welcomes students from diverse fields—design, healthcare, management, and related disciplines. No prior experience in medical design is required. Participants will gain valuable interdisciplinary collaboration experience and practical insights into healthcare innovation.

Students interested in medical design, healthcare innovation, engineering development, creative design, or related topics are encouraged to apply.
Participants from all academic backgrounds are welcome.
