Dr. Raul Andino is a professor at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and a member of the U.S. National Academy of Sciences. He leads a research team that has long been dedicated to the study of RNA viruses. His research interests include the evolution of various RNA viruses, live-virus vaccines, RNA therapeutic strategies, and antiviral drugs, and he has made outstanding contributions to this field.
