1. Purpose: To enhance the knowledge of our staff and students on human research ethics and subject protection, and to implement the human research protection plan, this session aims to help participants understand the standards and precautions for recruiting subjects on university, improve their sensitivity and knowledge related to human subject protection, as well as the considerations to be observed during human research, thereby enhancing awareness of subject protection to safeguard their rights. 2. Date and Time: Thursday, November 20, 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. (Lunch will be provided) 3. Location: 7th Floor Conference Room, Management Building. 4. Speaker: Assistant Professor Shu-Yu Chen (Assistant Professor, National Taipei University of Nursing and Health Sciences; Executive Secretary of Joint Institutional Review Board) 5. Topic: Standards and Precautions for Recruiting Subjects on University 6. Target Audience: All staff and students of the university, including principal investigators, research assistants, and graduate students (Master’s and PhD). 7. Notes: (1) Registered participants who actively participate in the entire event, including sign-in and sign-out, will receive an electronic certificate of 1-hour training issued by our office two weeks after the course ends (This certificate can be used for accreditation by the Chang Gung Medical Foundation's Institutional Review Board). Certificates will not be reissued if lost. (2) If you are unable to attend after registering, please cancel your registration in the system to assist the office in preparing for the actual number of participants and catering arrangements. (3) To ensure equal access to sessions organized by the office, registered participants who fail to attend without prior cancellation may be suspended from future training lectures.
