Patents

  1. Patent No.: I672125
    Inventors: Chao-Sung Lai; Yu-Sheng Chen
    Project Title: Multi-Point Sensing Device
    Development Site: Chang Gung University
Abstract: This invention relates to a multi-point sensing device comprising a first wire layer and a second wire layer, with a substrate and a covering layer enclosed between them. By attaching the substrate to the measurement sites corresponding to cun, guan, and chi near the user’s radial artery at the wrist and applying external pressure, the device detects the pulse responses at these positions. It may therefore be used as a disposable pressure sensor.
  2. Project Title: Pulse Sensing Device
    Development Site: Chang Gung University
Abstract: This invention relates to a pulse sensing device in which a sensing patch is carried by a pressure control mechanism to detect pulse activity at the cun, guan, and chi positions on one arm of the subject. The sensing patch may also be designed as disposable, thereby avoiding hygiene issues arising from repeated use.
