Lab & Research Interest
1. Our lab focuses on studying viral replication mechanisms in hosts using animal models. We have established models for enterovirus, influenza, and SARS-CoV-2 infections, providing a natural setting to observe virus-host interactions. These models aid in understanding viral behavior and developing antiviral drugs and vaccines by evaluating their safety and efficacy.2. We have developed methods to study the relationship between gut microbiota and intestinal RNA virus infections using antibiotic treatments and fecal microbiota transplantation. Through multi-omics analysis, we investigate how gut microbiota influences viral infections and identify potential antiviral bacterial components.
3. Our BSL-3 lab operates under strict biosafety protocols to study infectious pathogens. We provide advanced research services and collaborate with industry partners to develop antiviral drugs, vaccines, and diagnostic tools. Our lab also trains personnel in high-containment laboratory practices, supporting public health efforts and research advancements.
