The 11th Annual Japan Studies Thesis Competition by the Taiwan-Japan Cultural and Economic Association invites enthusiastic participation.

To foster and encourage talented Taiwanese students in studying and advancing Taiwan-Japan relations, the Taiwan-Japan Cultural and Economic Association is holding its annual Japan Studies Thesis Competition in 2024. Students from all disciplines are welcome to participate. The competition has two categories:

  1. Graduate Division: Open to master's students, including international students, with topics in Japanese cultural or economic studies. Six awards will be granted with a top prize of NT$15,000.

  2. Undergraduate Division: Open to undergraduates, with an essay topic focused on future collaboration in regional revitalization between Taiwan and Japan. Four awards will be granted with a top prize of NT$10,000.

Submission Process:
Participants must submit entries online via the provided form by October 30, 2024. Papers should be sent to the association's email (office.tjcea@gmail.com) by November 29, 2024.
