The EMI Teaching Resource Center at National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) invites all CGU students to participate in the Spring Session of the EMI Academic English Talent and Leadership Course, which will take place from March 3 (Monday) to May 16 (Friday), 2025.
Registration Information
Registration Form: Opens on February 5, 2025
Eligibility:
- Undergraduate and graduate students from universities and colleges.
- Individuals interested in becoming EMI Teaching Assistants (EMI TAs).
- Proficient English speakers (recommended English proficiency level: B2 or above).
Registration Period: February 5 (Wednesday) – February 19 (Wednesday), 2025
Registration Method:
- Online Registration: Individuals must fill out the online registration form. Late submissions will not be accepted.
- Priority Admission: Applicants who provide a list of recommending faculty members in their application will be given priority.
- Admission Notification: Successful applicants will receive a confirmation email on February 24 (Monday), 2025, along with login credentials for Moodle and the Sensay AI Speaking Practice Platform.

Course Completion Guidelines
Participants will complete the course using Moodle and the Sensay AI Speaking Practice System. A minimum of 8 training hours is required to meet the course completion criteria.

EMI Teaching Context:
- Complete 2 hours of coursework and post-class Sensay speaking practice.

EMI Teaching Approach:
- Complete 2 hours of coursework and post-class Sensay speaking practice.

EMI Intercultural Communication:
- Complete 2 hours of coursework and post-class Sensay speaking practice.

EMI Teaching Demonstration:
- Participate in a final teaching demonstration (2 hours). Completion of this demonstration is mandatory for receiving a course certificate.
