To enhance faculty members' English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI) teaching capabilities and instructional quality, National Sun Yat-sen University is organizing the 2nd National EMI Innovative Teaching Course Video Competition. We invite faculty members from colleges and universities across Taiwan to submit innovative teaching videos showcasing EMI teaching methods. This competition aims to provide a platform for educators to observe and learn from one another. The details are as follows:
1. Eligibility:
Faculty members from colleges and universities nationwide.
2. Submission Requirements:
- A lesson plan
- An EMI innovative teaching video
3. Submission Deadlines and Method:
The competition consists of two phases:
- Preliminary Round: The registration deadline has been extended to February 21, 2025.
- Final Round: The submission deadline for final round videos has been extended to May 20, 2025.
Participants should email the registration form and lesson plan to the designated contact person.
4. Awards:
- First Prize (1 winner): NT$30,000 and a certificate
- Second Prize (3 winners): NT$20,000 and a certificate
- Honorable Mention (5 winners): NT$5,000 and a certificate
