Hosted by the EMI Teaching Resource Center at National Taiwan Normal University (hereafter referred to as "the Center"), the "Enhancing EMI Excellence with AI, Mentorship, and Teaching Practices: RCEMI Professional Development Symposium and Achievement Conference" aims to foster experience-sharing among faculty from various fields regarding EMI (English as a Medium of Instruction) teaching outcomes and experiences, enhancing interaction and exchange. The conference will feature presentations from participants of the Center's 36-hour EMI teaching enhancement course (Fall 2024), a report on overseas training at the University of Texas at Austin, and the outcomes of the EMI Professional Community Support Program. Additionally, there will be two keynote sessions and an EMI panel discussion covering topics such as the integration of EMI theory and practice, teaching applications, course design, and the role of AI in supporting EMI teaching practices.
