Wang Shaocheng,a student of the Department of Information Engineering at Chang Gung University,was 12 years old when he was infected with the central nervous system,resulting in impaired respiratory function and paralysis of the motor nerves.Later,he only got the last place in the first section examination in high school,but his positive learning attitude drove him to continuously improve his grades to the top class,and entered the Department of Information Engineering of Chang Gung University to learn knowledge and professional ability.During the school period,he won the second place in the internship competition of the School of Engineering,the fourth and fifth Hon Hai Scholarship Whale and many other honors.Before graduating this year,he won the President's Education Award and was one of the eight winners in the tertiary category.
Shaocheng's mother is a passionate mother with a warm smile on her face.She quit her job to take care of Shaocheng,and this optimistic and enterprising outlook on life is also fully reflected in Shaocheng.During the period,I actively applied for various work-study opportunities.As a work-study student in the school's counseling group,I assisted in the production of event posters and hardware equipment maintenance.In the sophomore,junior,and senior years,I applied to be the research assistant and course teaching assistant of the school’s teachers.After the summer internship in the senior year,he also continued to work and study in Matheson Company to develop financial computing projects.Not only was Shao Cheng not overwhelmed by his inconvenient body,he even had a wonderful and fulfilling life during college.
During his study at Chang Gung University,Shao Cheng was awarded the Book Award five times.In his future research plan,he mentioned that his goal is to specialize in neural network connection technology.Driven by his own motivation,he hopes to develop a method for interpreting neural information.The smart assistive devices enable muscular dystrophy patients,amputees,and those with central nervous system damage to have a better quality of life.The technologies learned during school include automatic diabetes detection,motion video behavior recognition,and emotional music generation.It is a milestone in the learning of important knowledge and skills.I hope that he can continue to move forward to achieve his ambitious research goals.
